What I do for my clients:
I provide nutrition guidance and accountability on a daily basis. While the education is important, in my 13 years of coaching I’ve found that most people struggle with the execution of the plan. I use my own health coaching app and Zoom calls to communicate with my clients on a daily basis for enhanced accountability and support. I have also spent countless hours researching the best food brands (least processed) that are quick to prepare and still taste good. I do all the hard work to make the process as simple as possible with the least amount of mental energy towards making food decisions. My clients appreciate that I give them practical options that they can realistically implement into their life.
Professional Biography:
From 2010-2020, Ben helped over 1000 people achieve their fitness goals at his personal training studio in Nyack, NY. Upon lockdown of the Coronavirus Pandemic, he was inspired to learn how to improve his immune system, as well as everyone he knew. This led Ben toward a hyper-focus on nutrition, specifically gut health. He was fascinated to learn HOW nutrition is not only key for body composition, but it’s critical for recovery and maintenance in all aspects of health. Ben proceeded to get certified as a Health Coach (Dr. Sears Wellness Institute) and Functional Nutrition Counselor (Functional Nutrition Alliance). He is currently enrolled in Metabolic Mentor University which focuses on correcting major hormone imbalances. This deeper understanding of nutrition has allowed Ben to streamline the process of fat loss in the programming of each individual.
Early Beginnings:
After studying sports medicine at Binghamton University, Ben transferred to SUNY Cortland where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. He uses his knowledge of human movement along with his passion for helping people to improve their quality of life. His own fitness background includes extensive time training and competing in boxing, mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai.
Personal Life:
In 2020, Ben and his fiancee tied the knot. His wife, Maria, is an Internal Medicine doctor currently training in a cardiology fellowship.
